Of that, $2 billion was generated in the second quarter, while $1.9 billion was generated in the first quarter of 2024. 

The second quarter recorded a 21% YoY increase and a 5.26% QoQ increase. 

Comparatively, the revenue generated by Shopify in the last quarter of 2023 was $2.14 billion. This was a 23.57% YoY increase in Shopify’s quarterly revenue, which was the highest revenue recorded in a quarter.
